Medical Hypnosis

I offer a range of clinical hypnosis and hypnotherapy consultancy, training and mentoring services to primary and secondary care, emergency medicine, diagnostics and medical research teams.

Specific training is available for a wide range of medical personnel, including doctors, dentists, surgeons, nurses, anaesthetists and medical technicians.

Clinical hypnosis and hypnotherapy training includes proactive and reactive work with illness, injury and disease, as well as promoting recovery, together with health promotion and boosting adherence to treatment.

Services offered include awareness talks, general and customised training, and mentoring; this is available both on-site and online.

  • A wide range of talks can be delivered to teams, either on-site or online.

    General topics include the myths and misconceptions of hypnosis, conversational hypnosis, hypnotic change work, and boosting client engagement and self-care.

    Specific talks can be delivered, such as the use of hypnosis for pain management, hypno-anaesthesia, addressing phobias and PTSD.

    Training can be provided relating to providing care and helping patients in medical and dental settings for specific emergency situations and environments.

  • A wide range of training is available for primary and secondary care settings, for both NHS and private healthcare personnel.

    Training can be selected from a diverse range of established training courses, or can be customised to individual needs.

  • On-site and online mentoring is available to individuals and teams who have been trained by Dr Kate.

    Mentoring and support is also available to those who have been trained elsewhere, following an initial assessment process.
